My karate club became top heavy with a high percentage of members now black belts, so our Sensei decided it was perfect timing for a recruitment drive to expand the style further in the Waikato region. A new website, signage, cards, hoodies and national tournament tees were designed to raise the profile of the club. Also as it is a non-profit club, we've started creating branded gear to fund more training equipment, all proceeds go directly back into the club. It's still an awesome time to join up with a lot of one on one tutoring time with black belts, something other clubs just can't offer.
